“Unfold”

This week’s topic for Illustration Friday is “unfold”. My take on this one is very literal, I folded and unfolded a scrap of paper and made a small sketch of it with a black pen on paper. In photoshop, I colored the squares and added punched hole effects, stars and other decorative elements. To enlarge, click here.

@ Shelly – The background was made with another dynamic brush that I made: http://www.brushthis.com/?p=1821. It is such a useful brush, I use it often to create subtle backgrounds.

I really love brushes and your brushes are great. I wish to learn how to create brushes. Well, I am still beginner in Photoshop. I like the textures and background. Keep up the good work.

Ohhh~ I’ve seen some brush sets on here I’ve been wanting to use, but I didn’t get a chance to yet…..

The unfold paper looks nice and cheerful .
And I esp. like the subtle pale blue background .
( The Da Vinci brush is such a good brush .
So many useful and fun ways to use it . )

Love the brushes! They added more personality on the illustration.
